AUCHENBRACK

Dumfries and Galloway

Lying in the upper part of the picturesque Shinnel Glen and surrounded by over 2000 acres of its own farmland, Auchenbrack nestles on the banks of the Shinnel Burn, one of the tributaries off the middle Nith in central Dumfriesshire.

SHOOTING

High pheasants driven off steep banks provide challenging sporting shooting with days ranging from 100 birds to 250. The compact nature of the shoot enables teams to walk between drives and take in the stunning scenery.

Teams enjoy the convivial hospitality of the hosts with lunch in Auchenbrack House and accommodation available if required.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation can be arranged in the splendid Auchenbrack House, a stunning Scottish Lodge which has been refurbished to the highest standard. Guests have a choice of 9 sumptuously decorated bedrooms, while the dining room can seat up to 25. Plump sofas are the perfect place to relax by a warming open fire in peaceful surroundings.

Accommodation can be offered as self-catered or catered: chefs are available from the family’s renowned hotel, The Buccleuch and Queensbury, in Thornhill.
